The inspiration behind this series comes from the poem I Have Slept Many Places by Denise Duhamel. It follows all the places she has slept throughout her life from hospital beds to friends' couches. Following all the different places Duhamel has been by looking at all the places she has found rest. Until one day going to your final resting place. Every person starts and ends their life in the same way, it’s all the places in between that sets us all apart.
